SINGAPORE SPORTS MUSEUM

First established in 1983 within the former National Stadium, the Singapore Sports Museum closed her doors in 2007 and reopened in 2014 here at the Singapore Sports Hub. More than 800 sports-related artefacts and memorabilia - many donated by athletes and fans - are on display, as well as touchscreen information panels, videos and other interactive features.

But if you're unsure about how to best navigate the space, there is a 30-minute tour (subject to change), held on weekdays at 11am and 3pm, which takes you through the permanent galleries and temporary exhibits. With commentary from Museum guides, learn how Singapore's sporting journey began and how it has developed, get up close with mementos ranging from FIFA World Cup official match balls to relics of the old National Stadium, and pay homage to local sports stars. Admission is free for Singapore Citizens, Permanent Residents and children under six.*
